The design development takes into consideration local and international codes and standards, construction procedures, and client requirements, and that in coordination with other trades.

This includes the preparation of technical specifications and bill of quantities. Our services cover also the review of tender submittals, and the follow up till nomination of contractor.

Our intervention during execution phase, through site inspection visits or permanent presence, aims to ensure the conformity of works with approved documents and applied codes & standards. Quality control procedures, including testing, are implemented to guarantee the quality of used materials and final product.

IPEC’s objective, through design review and value engineering, is to identify improvements, in the construction system and design that can increase performance and reduce costs. Through value engineering, the estimation of potential savings could be provided at first stage, and may be followed by the redesign of the structure.

This concerns the inspection of existing buildings, testing campaign, verification of structural elements, and issuance of technical reports describing the actual status of the structure and proposing remedial measures for repairing or strengthening.
